Canada is now the world’s third largest producer of gem quality Diamonds.
Each year a completely new road has to be constructed at a cost of millions of dollars to access the mine. The ‘Ice Road’ as it is known, can only be used for a maximum of three months while the ice is still thick enough to allow the heavy trucks that transport the mining equipment, to safely drive across the many lakes and permafrost.
Each Stone is laser inscribed with the CanadaMark™
hallmark and a unique serial number
(visible only under magnification), signifying that the polished Diamond is of true Canadian origin.
All stones are accompanied by a reputable International Gemological Certificate detailing the stones quality; and a separate ‘Certificate of Origin' from CanadaMark™ detailing the original weight before cutting, and the mine of origin.
