The style of cut has experienced a long & extensive history of development, beginning as long ago as the first century B.C. & only in the 20th Century attaining its zenith.
Cutting transforms the Rough Diamond, unlocking the magical fire of prismatic colours.
Only when precisely calculated planes & angles are used, will a Diamond display it's greatest possible beauty, the unique optical properties of its high refractive index & colour dispersion. This being the case, Cut, one of the 4 C's of Diamond Grading is the most important.
Diamonds above 0.40 points are accompanied with an International Certificate from a reputable Diamond Grading Laboratory. Smaller stones can be Certificated on request.
